("Little Nemo in Slumberland". Winsor McCay. 1905-1911)
{"Little Nemo in Slumberland", created by Winsor McCay, is a important comic-book, a referent for the new drawings like Peanuts or Calvin&Hobbes. Nemo is a little kid who every night dreams and lives in a fantastic world, in the slumberland. The king is Morfeo, name of the dream's world.}
The most important discovery of this year was 'Little Nemo in Slumberland', an amazing comic-book.

Little Nemo is the story that I was searching all my life. One little kid, with a very big imagination, living in a fantastic world: dream's world. The only thing that can destroy his dreams is when he wakes up.
Winsor McCay made a perfect art work, that inspired to big drawers like Bill Watterson o Charles M- Schulz (creators of 'Calvin & Hobbes' and 'Peanuts'). And now is a big inspiration for my work, because I think that the structure of the stories, like the stories of 'Calvin & Hobbes' (when Calvin is dreaming or thinking in a fiction world) can work in my project.
